DEI Announces the Incoming Class of Leadership for Philanthropy Stations

On January 1, 2012, a new cohort of seven stations was added to the growing group of almost 60 stations participating in Leadership for Philanthropy. These stations will begin an intensive, year-long project to build or expand a major giving program that will help them raise gifts of $10,000 or more. The program offers training for general managers and boards of directors to help them connect and engage with the communities they serve and increase gifts.

Station managers and community leaders will be recipients of various training efforts including in-person meetings, webinar and consulting on-site and by phone. This is the third year of a CPB funded initiative managed by DEI and it is in a critical transition year. Currently, it is testing a sustainable model of the project that will allow it to run without CPB subsidy. If you have any questions regarding LFP, contact or for more information.

This is the list of all participants thus far including the new, incoming stations for Year 3.
